A visual photo documentary of Saigon’s unique night street life.
There’s a raw, unfiltered energy to Saigon’s nightlife that few cities can match. It’s a chaos that pulses through the streets, a current that seems unstoppable. Motorcycles zoom past, vendors call out to the ever-moving crowds, and plastic chairs dot the sidewalks like waiting spectators to this endless performance. The lights glow bright, defying the concept of sleep, and the city feels eternal. But moments in the city fly by in an instant—so fast, in fact, that it takes the blink of an eye to miss them. Sitting behind a scooter, I’ve come to realize how fleeting and fast-paced the experience of navigating Saigon truly is. Photography, to me, is the ideal medium to document these fleeting moments, freezing them in time.
Night Rider is a visual documentary of Saigon’s unique night street life, a testament to the vibrant energy and spirit that the city offers. It’s my personal project, created from the passenger seat, to share the dynamic beauty of a city that fills me with energy and joy.
